Cadiz Program

Sunday May 20, 2018 – Departure
Departure from Philadelphia airport with USAIR# 740 at 05:10pm
Group Check in at 02:10pm.  Dinner and breakfast will be served on board

Monday May 21, 2018 – Madrid

Arrival at Barajas airport Madrid Spain is scheduled at 06:40am.

Group will be welcomed and offered a panoramic city tour, before arriving to the hotel. Madrid is the capital city of Spain,  seat of government, residence of the Spanish monarch, political, economic and cultural center of Spain

After check in at hotel Agumar some time to rest and afternoon visit to famous Prado Museum.

Tuesday May 22, 2018 – Madrid
Full day excursion to Toledo, known as the “Imperial City” for having been the main venue of the court of Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor, and as the “City of the Three Cultures“, having been influenced by a historical coexistence of Christians, Muslims and Jews.

Wednesday May 23, 2018 – Seville
Morning departure by bus to Seville On route there will be a stop in Cordoba, conquered by Muslim armies in the eighth century, and then became the capital of the Islamic Emirate and then Caliphate of Córdoba, including most of the Iberian Peninsula. During the Spanish Reconquista, Cordoba was captured by King Ferdinand III of Castile on 29 June 1236, after a siege of several months. Guided city tour and visit to the Mosque.

Thursday May 24, 2018 – Cadiz
After breakfast we will tour Seville, capital and largest city of the autonomous community of Andalucia. situated on the plain of the River Guadalquivir. Its Old Town, contains three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Alcázar palace complex, the Cathedral and the General Archive of the Indies.
Continuation to Cadiz, the oldest continuously inhabited city in Spain and one of the oldest in western Europe, principal home port of the Spanish Navy and site of the University of Cádiz. Situated on a narrow slice of land surrounded by the sea‚ Cádiz is, in most respects, a typically Andalusian city with a wealth of attractive vistas and well-preserved historical landmarks.>

Friday June 08, 2018 – Granada

Saturday June 09, 2018 – Granada
Morning guided visit of  The Alhambra, a Moorish citadel and palace, the most renowned building of the Andalusian Islamic historical legacy. The Generalife is a pleasure palace with attached romantic gardens, remarkable both for its location and layout, as well as for the diversity of its flowers, plants and fountains

Sunday June 10, 2018 – Return to Cadiz
After breakfast you will depart from Granada towards Cadiz.

Sunday June 24, 2018 – Madrid
Morning departure from Cadiz Return trip will be via Merida, in Extremadura, where you will have the opportunity of visiting the very well preserved Roman ruins of the Theater and Amphitheater. Check in at your hotel in Madrid. Dinner and overnight
Monday June 25, 2018 – Madrid
Full day excursion to Avila and Segovia Avila of the knights and Saints Birthplace of St. Teresa de Jesus Segovia was a very important military nucleus by the Romans times, proved with the magnificent Aqueduct. Dinner and overnight at hotel

Tuesday June 26, 2018 – Return to USA
After breakfast transfer from the hotel to Barajas airport Return flight US Air #741 will depart Madrid at 01:10pm and it is scheduled to arrive Philadelphia airport at 03:40 pm same day local time.

Failure to present valid passport and/or visas:

No show at the airport: 
Automatically cancels your whole reservation and invalidates your ticket. You will have to purchase a new ticket at the fare available at the time you re-schedule your trip. Most airlines will not give you any credit – refund for your original ticket
Missing any flight for any reason: 
Automatically cancels the rest of the reservation, invalidates your ticket and you will have to purchase a one way ticket for the rest of your itinerary. Airlines will not give you any credit for the unused portion of your ticket.

Documents To Enter A Foreign Country

Possession of documentation is the responsibility of each passenger.
Failure to provide them will result in denied boarding with no right to refund.
