Sunday May 19, 2019 – Departure
Departure from Philadelphia airport with USAIR# 740 at 05:10pm
Group Check in at 02:00pm.  Dinner and breakfast will be served on board

Monday May 20, 2019 – Madrid

Arrival at Barajas airport Madrid Spain is scheduled at 06:40am.

Group will be welcomed and offered a panoramic city tour, before arriving to the hotel. Madrid is the capital city of Spain,  seat of government, residence of the Spanish monarch, political, economic and cultural center of Spain

Afternoon visit to Reina Sofia Museum that hosts Pablo Picasso’s masterpiece the “Guernica” ” followed by an artistic walking tour of the city including a visit to Isabel II Palace – the Royal Palace

Tuesday May 21, 2019 – Madrid
Full day excursion to Toledo, known as the “Imperial City” for having been the main venue of the court of Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor, and as the “City of the Three Cultures“, having been influenced by a historical coexistence of Christians, Muslims and Jews.

Wednesday May 22, 2019 – Seville
Morning departure by bus to Seville
On route there will be a stop in Cordoba, conquered by Muslim armies in the eighth century, and then became the capital of the Islamic Emirate and then Caliphate of Córdoba, including most of the Iberian Peninsula. During the Spanish Reconquista, Cordoba was captured by King Ferdinand III of Castile on 29 June 1236, after a siege of several months. Guided city tour and visit to the Mosque.

Thursday May 23, 2019 – Cadiz
After breakfast we will tour Seville, capital and largest city of the autonomous community of Andalucia. situated on the plain of the River Guadalquivir. Its Old Town, contains three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Alcázar palace complex, the Cathedral and the General Archive of the Indies.
Continuation to Cadiz, the oldest continuously inhabited city in Spain and one of the oldest in western Europe, principal home port of the Spanish Navy and site of the University of Cádiz. Situated on a narrow slice of land surrounded by the sea‚ Cádiz is, in most respects, a typically Andalusian city with a wealth of attractive vistas and well-preserved historical landmarks.

Morning guided visit of  The Alhambra, a Moorish citadel and palace, the most renowned building of the Andalusian Islamic historical legacy. The Generalife is a pleasure palace with attached romantic gardens, remarkable both for its location and layout, as well as for the diversity of its flowers, plants and fountains

Sunday June 9, 2019 – Return to Cadiz
After breakfast you will depart from Granada towards Cadiz.

Sunday June 23, 2019 – Madrid
Morning departure from Cadiz Return trip will be via Merida, in Extremadura, where you will have the opportunity of visiting the very well preserved Roman ruins of the Theater and Amphitheater. Check in at your hotel in Madrid. Dinner and overnight
Monday June 24, 2019 – Madrid

Morning excursion to Segovia, a very important military nucleus by the Romans times, proved with the magnificent Aqueduct.

During the afternoon, back in Madrid for a guided tour to famous Prado Museum

Tuesday June 25, 2019 – Return to USA
After breakfast transfer from the hotel to Barajas airport Return flight US Air #741 will depart Madrid at 01:10pm and it is scheduled to arrive Philadelphia airport at 03:40 pm same day local time.

Land services will be paid to Villanova University

Documents To Enter A Foreign Country
