Program Description

This summer program in Dharamsala, India offers classes in Tibetan philosophy, Indo-Tibetan social thought,
and studio courses in traditional Tibetan arts.

Departure from JFK International Airport at 08:15am with Virgin Atlantic# 026 non stop flight to London International Airport -LHR- and connecting with Virgin Atlantic# 300 to Delhi, India
You’ll arrive Delhi at 10:50am May 22, 2016 local time.



The program will take place at the Norbulingka Institute for teaching and preserving
Tibet’s artistic culture.

The Institute has a beautiful quiet campus with studios, temple, student and
master teacher residences, hospitality center, and café.

In addition to classes and studios, there will be guided meditation led by local lamas,
opportunities from some service work with exiled Tibetan community, field trips to ancient and
new monasteries, temples and museums in the area which is the home of the
Tibetan government-in-exile and of the Dalai Lama.

The intensive study, meditation and service program will be followed by a Himalayan trek.

Fare and form of payment are based on a minimum of 10 passengers traveling together.

Date deviation for the return trip:
If you are interested in extending your stay in India, please request your desired return at time of registration, before February 16, 2016.
There is a non refundable deviation fee of $100.00 plus any difference in fare according to airline availability


All payments due dates are related to contracts with airlines, hotels and/or other suppliers. 
The policies below must be enforced as they are related to these contracts.

From February 16 To March 01, 2016: $400.00 cancellation fee
From March 02 To April 12, 2016: $800.00 cancellation fee
After April 12, 2016: 100% of total price

Important Airlines Rules

Incorrect spelling and/or differences in names on your ticket and passport
Can result in prevention of travelling by airport security and monetary consequences as the need of purchasing a new ticket.

Failure to present valid passport and/or visas
You will be denied boarding, your airline reservation will be cancelled and you will have to purchase a new ticket at the fare available at the time you have your documents in order. Most airlines will not give you any credit – refund for your original ticket.

No show at the airport
Automatically cancels your whole reservation and invalidates your ticket. You will have to purchase a new ticket at the fare available at the time you re-schedule your trip. Most airlines will not give you any credit – refund for your original ticket.

Missing any flight for any reason
Automatically cancels the rest of the reservation, invalidates your ticket and you will have to purchase a one way ticket for the rest of your itinerary. Airlines will not give you any credit for the unused portion of your ticket.

Documents To Enter A Foreign Country

Possession of documentation is the responsibility of each passenger.
Failure to provide it, may result in denied boarding with no right to refund.

Valid passport
Travellers going abroad need a valid passport.
Some countries require that your U.S. passport be valid for at least six months after your return trip — other countries may require a longer validity.
